April 1-7 Virtual Training Camp Challenge
Here's are the familiar rules for the month of April to hopefully continue with
a high level of participation from both clubs. If you can record at least 60 minutes working out
that week, you can contribute to your club winning!
RULES for the
challenge for every day from Tuesday, April 1, 2008 through
Monday, April 7, 2008:
1. OUTSIDE bike, or OUTSIDE run, or
INDOOR/OUTDOOR swim = 1
point per minute. Any other exercise including any inside spinning or indoor
running
(use your best judgment on what to include) = 0.5 points per
minute. RECORD your own points on your club database for them to
count.
2. It's up to YOU. All participants are
responsible for recording all their own points for April 1 through 7 on
their respective Yahoo database on or before mid-day April 9, 2008. Anything
not filled in by participants by 9PM on April
9th
will be recorded as a zero. Don't expect to
receive reminders on this, just get your data filled in on time.
3. Team preliminary score =
average of FIVE MIDDLE QUALIFYING SCORES (over 59 points/week) posted by the
team members. That is, the middle scorer (or the middle plus one for an even
number of people), the two people just above him/her, and the two people
just below him/her.
4. Participation is defined as: Number of
people who record at least 60 points for the week, divided by the number of
subscribers to the respective Yahoo group on April 1st.
5. Team final score for April:
Final team score equals the preliminary score (from #3) above,
plus THIRTY (30) BONUS points for the team with highest %
participation (from #4).
